NSS Unit 267

The National Service Scheme


A Government of India-sponsored public service program conducted by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. The NSS program for B.Ed students was started at Mahatma Gandhi University from 2022. NSS activities started in the National College for Teacher Education from 2023. NSS activities are being carried out in a very extensive manner in the college. The NSS aims to instill a sense of social responsibility, develop leadership qualities, and bridge the gap between academic institutions and the community.

Arts & Craft Resource Centre

The campus features an Art and Craft Resource Centre, dedicated to fostering creativity and artistic expression among students. This center is equipped with a variety of materials and tools for various art forms, including painting, drawing, sculpture, and crafts. It serves as a space for students to explore their artistic talents, engage in hands-on projects, and participate in workshops and classes led by experienced instructors.

The Science and Mathematics Lab at our college is designed to nurture scientific curiosity and provide hands-on experience in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Each lab is fully equipped with the necessary chemicals, materials and tools to conduct experiments aligned with the curriculum of higher secondary education. These state-of-the-art facilities enable students to engage in meaningful investigations and develop a strong foundation in the sciences.

The campus is equipped with a modern language lab with ETNL Software, designed to enhance language learning through interactive and immersive resources. The lab provides access to audio-visual tools, language software, and headsets to support pronunciation, listening, and communication skills.
