Achievements

The National Service Scheme

A Government of India-sponsored public service program conducted by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. The NSS program for B.Ed students was started at Mahatma Gandhi University from 2022. NSS activities started in the National College for Teacher Education from 2023. NSS activities are being carried out in a very extensive manner in the college. The NSS aims to instill a sense of social responsibility, develop leadership qualities, and bridge the gap between academic institutions and the community.

Arts & Craft Resource Centre

The campus features an Art and Craft Resource Centre, dedicated to fostering creativity and artistic expression among students. This center is equipped with a variety of materials and tools for various art forms, including painting, drawing, sculpture, and crafts. It serves as a space for students to explore their artistic talents, engage in hands-on projects, and participate in workshops and classes led by experienced instructors.

Science & Maths Lab

The Science and Mathematics Lab at our college is designed to nurture scientific curiosity and provide hands-on experience in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Each lab is fully equipped with the necessary chemicals, materials and tools to conduct experiments aligned with the curriculum of higher secondary education. These state-of-the-art facilities enable students to engage in meaningful investigations and develop a strong foundation in the sciences.

Psychology Lab

Language Lab

The campus is equipped with a modern language lab with ETNL Software, designed to enhance language learning through interactive and immersive resources. The lab provides access to audio-visual tools, language software, and headsets to support pronunciation, listening, and communication skills. Facilitated by experienced instructors, the language lab offers a focused environment for students to practice and improve their language proficiency, fostering confidence and effective communication skills.

Waste Management

The campus implements an effective waste management system to promote environmental sustainability and cleanliness. This system includes waste segregation at source, with clearly labeled bins for recyclables, organic waste, and general waste. Regular collection and disposal are managed efficiently to minimize environmental impact.

Green Campus

The campus is committed to maintaining a green and sustainable environment, featuring well-maintained gardens, green spaces, and trees that enhance its aesthetic appeal and promote biodiversity. Initiatives such as waste segregation, water conservation, and energy-efficient practices are actively implemented to minimize the ecological footprint. Parking

The campus offers spacious and well-organized parking facilities for students, staff, and visitors. Designated areas are available for cars, bicycles, and two-wheelers, ensuring convenience and accessibility. The parking spaces are regularly maintained and monitored for security, providing a safe environment for all vehicles. This thoughtful arrangement supports the campus community's needs and promotes efficient traffic management.

Multi Purpose Hall
